The Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF) has provided full support to the Wildlife Rescue Unit (WRU) in Sabah, an unit that was created to help the Sabah Wildlife Department safeguard and to address pertinent wildlife conservation issues that Sabah is facing today. MPOGCF symbolizes Malaysian palm oil industry’s commitment to wildlife protection and pledges to continue supporting the WRU in the future.
MPOGCF aims to encourage and support green conservation initiatives and sustainable practices related to the Malaysian palm oil industry. The idea for MPOGCF was mooted by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) in 2019 to address concerns about the palm oil industry’s impact on the environment and to demonstrate the industry’s commitment to conservation.
