Our team champions green conservation by overseeing strategic initiatives that promote sustainable palm oil production. Our mission is to cultivate an environmentally conscious palm oil landscape and my role involves engaging various stakeholders and partners to foster awareness, sustainability and ethical practices within the industry.
My expertise in public affairs and social media management, honed through past leadership in corporate communication, fuels impactful campaigns and content creation that underline the social and environmental benefits of palm oil. With a commitment to corporate social responsibility, our work at MPOGCF aims to protect biodiversity and encourage the industry's adherence to responsible and green practices.

Aina joined the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF) in 2021, starting her career as an Administrative Assistant before being promoted to Human Resource Executive.

Ahmad Shahdan Kasim

Ahmad Shahdan currently holds the position of Conservation Manager at the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF). His main responsibilities include the leadership of biodiversity conservation efforts within the Malaysian palm oil industry, executed through collaboration between MPOGCF and various stakeholders, including government agencies, research institutions, academic bodies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), as well as oil palm plantation companies and smallholders.
His previous role was as a Senior Executive at the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) under the Science, Environment and Sustainability Division. Before his tenure at MPOC, he served as a Wildlife Officer at the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) Peninsular Malaysia, with a specific focus on the Malayan Tiger Conservation Programme.
Ahmad Shahdan is a graduate of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), holding a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. His early career began as a Naturalist at Pangkor Laut Resort, followed by involvement with environmental NGOs, contributing to river and mangrove conservation programmes in Perak and Selangor.

Fazrin Munirah Atan

Fazrin Munirah Atan is a Conservation and Sustainability Executive at the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF). She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in International Studies from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).

With experience in social research, community engagement, and programme coordination, she supports the implementation of conservation-related initiatives, particularly those involving local communities and sustainable practices within oil palm landscapes. At MPOGCF, Fazrin collaborates with key stakeholders, monitors project progress, and reviews reporting to ensure initiatives are effectively managed and aligned with sustainability objectives.

Daniel Pamin

As an executive for the Conservation and Sustainability Department, my main responsibility is to monitor conservation projects undertaken by the MPOGCF through collaboration with strategic partners such as government agencies, researchers, academias, NGOs and oil palm plantation companies and smallholders.

Before joining MPOGCF, I worked with timber industry in Sabah for 10 years overseeing conservation initiatives (HCV, EIA). Prior to this, I studied and worked at the Institute for Tropical Biology & Conservation UMS in Sabah. After completing MSc conservation study, I've been attached to a programme overseeing projects in Sabah - Bornean Biodiversity and Ecosystem Conservation (BBEC Phase 1), and Bornean Wild Cat & Clouded Leopard Research Project.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and started conservation work professionally with local environmental NGOs on tree replanting programme (Malaysian Nature Society) and mangrove conservation programme (WWF-Malaysia’s Borneo Programme).

Ahmad ‘Aizat Azuri

Ahmad 'Aizat is a Conservation and Sustainability Executive at the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF). He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biodiversity Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Jengka, Pahang.

At MPOGCF, 'Aizat is involved in monitoring and supporting conservation projects in collaboration with strategic partners. He also contributes his knowledge in biodiversity management to assist in conservation initiatives within oil palm landscapes. Passionate about wildlife and nature, 'Aizat is dedicated to advancing biodiversity conservation efforts through his role with the Foundation.

Nur Fatin Amirah Ahmad Amri

Fatin Amirah is a Conservation and Sustainability Executive at MPOGCF. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science (Hons) and a Diploma in Animal Health and Production from Universiti Putra Malaysia. With experience in animal behavior, welfare, health management, and medical practices, she has worked across various sectors, including plantations, focusing on environmental compliance, animal productivity, and management practices.

At MPOGCF, she applies her diverse background to drive conservation projects, sustainable land management, and stakeholder engagement initiatives that balance animal welfare with environmental sustainability.

Tuan Nazuri Tuan Ismail

Tuan Nazuri currently holds the position of Strategic Communications Manager at the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF). He brings over 20 years of experience in the media industry and strategic communications, spanning both the private and public sectors. His career includes a decade as a journalist with Berita Harian, a prominent Malay-language newspaper; four years serving as a media officer to the Menteri Besar of Selangor and another four years as a strategic communications officer at the Ministry of Health.

Mohd Ariff Ikram Ariffin

Ariff currently holds the position of Strategic Communications Senior Executive at the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation (MPOGCF).

With a combined 7 years of experience in Corporate Communication, he brings strong expertise in stakeholder engagement and social media management. Additionally, he spent 3 years as a lecturer at City University and UiTM Shah Alam, further enriching his communication skills through academic teaching. He holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication, equipping him with a solid foundation in strategic communication and stakeholder relations.

His responsibilities include managing national-level events such as World Orangutan Day, organizing Iftar sessions with smallholders, and preparing official speeches and press releases.

Sarah Hanum Rozman

Sarah is currently the Strategic Communications Executive at the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF), now in her fourth year with the organization. Her key focus areas include graphic design and video editing, supporting the foundation’s outreach and communication efforts.

With over 7 years of experience in graphic design and multimedia with Bachelor’s Degree, she is highly proficient in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Auditions as well as Canva enabling to craft compelling visual content across various platforms and formats.

Nur Amira Fauzi

Amira is part of the Strategic Communication team at the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF), where she focuses on branding, promotion, and event coordination.

She holds a Bachelor of Mass Communication in Broadcasting with Honors and Diploma in Mass Communication & Media Studies, both from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Prior to MPOGCF, she gained experience in media and public relations through roles at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM),Telekom Malaysia (TM), The Vocket.com. and Media Selangor.

Since joining MPOGCF, Amira has contributed to various initiatives including the Jelajah Sawit Hijau MPOGCF Roadshow, Biodiversity Forum Gala Dinner, and World Orangutan Day Celebration in Sabah.

Hakimi currently holds the position of Strategic Communications Assistant at the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation (MPOGCF). He is in charge with graphic design including MPOGCF Highlight’s newsletter.
Hakimi has a Diploma in Multimedia and over 6 years of experience in data processing. Currently engaged in strategic communication within the palm oil conservation sector. Passionate about raising awareness on sustainability and biodiversity, particularly in oil palm plantation landscapes. Looking to further grow in a role that blends media, communication and conservation outreach.
