More than 300,000 plant species will be planted in the riparian zone such as Putat, Bintangor Laut, Sentul, Kembang Semangkuk, Ketapang, Mentalong, and Jambu Laut. A few species of freshwater fish have also been released into the river such as Kelah, Sebarau and Tengas.
