On the last day of the Biodiversity Forum 2024, participants had the opportunity to explore the wonders of the National Elephant Conservation Centre (NECC) in Kuala Gandah, Pahang.
They had the chance to observe and learn about the conservation efforts dedicated to protecting elephants.
At NECC, they can learn about elephant behavior and understand the challenges these magnificent creatures face in the wild.
Meanwhile, another group of people visited the Malayan Tiger Conservation Center (MTCC) in Lanchang, Pahang.
The MTCC is dedicated to the conservation and protection of the critically endangered Malayan tiger. It serves as a breeding and research facility aimed at increasing the population of Malayan tigers through captive breeding programs.
The center also conducts education and awareness programs to highlight the importance of tiger conservation and the threats faced by this iconic species.
